Rob graduated from Cumberland College of Health Sciences in 1989 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) before working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for his graduate year and then Concord Repatriation Hospital. In 1992 Rob completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy from Sydney University and became a titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. Rob has been practicing for over 30 years.
Rob established his practice in Armidale in 1998 and has been proudly serving the New England ever since.
Rob is dedicated to providing optimal outcomes for his patients. Rob is passionate about the ever-changing science of physiotherapy and applying this to patient care.
Rob's underlying philosophy is empowerment and collaborative care. He is passionate about helping you achieve your goals through recovery from injury or pain or preventative measures.

Nick graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2016 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours). Following the completion of his degree Nick made the move to Armidale and has been practicing at New England Physio for the past two years.
Nick was born and bred in Glen Innes before making the move to Newcastle to embark on his university degree and is happy to find himself back living and working in a rural area once again.
Nick’s passion for anything sport and health-related is what drove him to study Physiotherapy and he is dedicated to applying his knowledge and skills in a way that helps his clients achieve their desired goals. Nick’s commitment to providing his patients with the best outcomes possible has led to him undertaking a Masters of Sports Medicine through Melbourne University, which upon completion will enable him to become a titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist.
Over the past two years, Nick has gained a range of experience in the sports and musculoskeletal field of physiotherapy on both a domestic and international scale. He is the physiotherapist for the UNE Lions Women’s Rugby 7s team who play in an elite, nation-wide competition and is also the physiotherapist for professional rugby teams in the USA and Philippines.
Nick is an avid tennis player but also enjoys playing a variety of other sports such as touch football and soccer. Nick’s other passions include music and spending time with his family and friends.

Vanessa de Sauty is a Counselling Psychologist who specialises in treating anxiety, depression, grief and relationship counselling, as well as assisting a broad range of issues of identity, self-esteem development and spirituality to addressing the more intrusive chronic pain, self-harm and suicidal ideation.
She has a passion to help all sorts of people, from those who can function quite well in society but desire assistance with the struggles that hinder, those who want to reach their potential, those who want support, and those who desperately need some sort of change.
Vanessa has a number of years experience working in Sydney and London in private practice as well as in educational instutitions such as schools and universities, as well as lecturing and teaching part of the Masters of Counselling program. Regardless of gender or age, she is happy and well equipped to help those brave enough to consider counselling.

Mark is a psychologist who enjoys working with people to overcome their struggles and live in a healthier and purposeful way. He believes that therapy is most effective when it works both on a practical and cognitive level, giving strategies to cope with difficulties in the short term while working on a longer-term improvement. Common issues Mark works with are depression and anxiety, addiction and those wanting to change their habits and behaviours, however, is keen to help with a broad range of issues.
With a specialisation in sport and exercise psychology, a particular strength of Mark's is helping athletes, musicians and other performers to improve their practice and performance and to help those embarking on an exercise to overcome their barriers and build a healthier lifestyle and achieve their goals.
Mark was born in England, lived in Germany and Sweden and has worked with people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds, striving to make therapy relatable and improve something that is in reach of all people.

Bec is our Practice Manager, she has recently moved to Armidale from the Sunshine Coast with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys movie nights with the family and gardening.
Bec will be in the practice Wednesday to Friday.
Kathy has been a local Armidale girl for most of her life. Kathy has a love of sport and enjoys bike riding, running and swimming. Kath usually enjoys these activites with friends. Kath also enjoys watching her sons play sport (cricket and soccer), socialising with family and friends, good food and good coffee. Kath is here to serve you on Monday and Tuesday.
